DESCRIPTION:
We provide Respirator Fit Testing for qualitative tight and air-purifying respirators using: Irritant Smoke (Stannic Chloride) or Bitrix.
Objective: To perform Qualitative Fit Testing (QLFT), meaning a pass/fail test to assess the adequacy of respirator fit, which relies on the individual’s response to the test-agent. Using a smoke irritant or Bitrex, each test will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes (this will depend on problems that may arise during testing).
Note: We can only perform fit-testing procedures with NIOSH-approved respirators.
Call us if you do not currently have NIOSH-approved respirators.
